A tetrahedron is a polyhedron with four triangular faces, six straight edges, and four vertices, often called a triangular pyramid. It is the simplest possible convex polyhedron (a 3-simplex). A regular tetrahedron features four congruent equilateral triangles as faces and is one of the five Platonic solids.
